The Victorian Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Clinic was established in the year 2000 by Dr Andrew Beischer with the aim of creating a world-class facility for the assessment and treatment of patients with all disorders of the foot & ankle. Another aim was to create a facility to enable research into the field of foot & ankle surgery to provide cutting edge treatment options to patients of the clinic. This research program has resulted in numerous presentations at national and international meetings and also many publications in peer reviewed journals. The clinic has also been responsible for the training of more than 20 orthopaedic surgeons who have come from around the world to learn from Dr Beischer and his team. Since it was established more than 10,000 patients have been successfully treated at the clinic.

The clinic has 2 locations for the convenience of patients. The Central Clinic is located in the Epworth Centre in Richmond and the Eastern Clinic is located in Blackburn South. Dr Cornoiu is also consulting in Bundoora and Heidelberg.
